Dreaming Culture: In a collaborative project with anthropologist Marilyn Schlitz, Ph.D. of the Institute of Noetic Sciences we studied the Achuar People of the Ecuadorian Amazon. These people are traditionally a Dreaming Culture. A Dreaming Culture is a culture that has socially-sanctioned practices that reconcile dream-derived and waking-derived information and shape their physical activities in some way based on these practices.
